"Carbon offset" tree-planting activity
DCEC carries out “carbon offset” tree planting activities on each Tree-planting Day (March 12th) since 2007. As of 2017, DCEC employees have planted more than 3,500 trees.
World Environment Day activity
On each World Environment Day since 2012, DCEC carries out environment protection knowledge popularization activity and sends out reusable environment-friendly shopping bags. As of 2017, DCEC has sent out 64,000 shopping bags, and over 10,000 books about environmental protection.
Lecturing on environmental protection
DCEC has lectured in Sunzhuang Primary School and Dongfeng Primary School about environmental protection with textbooks compiled by DCEC employees. The total audience of the lectures are about 2,500 students since 2015.

Education support
Improving the quality and positioning of the education system to ensure that the students are ready to become the backbone of the future.
Student sponsorship
Since 2004, DCEC employees have paired up with poor students in Baokang County to help them continue their education. By 2017, DCEC employees have sponsored 3,820 students with a total fund of 1,526,000 Yuan. Meanwhile, DCEC has donated to schools in mountainous areas desks, chairs, bedding and computers valued more than 3.5 million Yuan.
Community education support
DCEC regularly donates teaching equipment to Dongfeng Kindergarten, and the primary school and the middle school in the community. DCEC also cooperates with Xiangyang Education Bureau to help surrounding schools.

Visiting the orphanage
On each Children’s Day, DCEC leaders and employee volunteers will go to Xiangyang Orphanage to visit the disabled children, and have donated air conditioners, foods, toys and other articles valued over 100,000 Yuan to the orphanage, to improve the children's living environment.
Visiting the social welfare institute
During the Double Ninth Festival each year, DCEC leaders and employee volunteers will go to Xiangyang Social Welfare Institute to visit the disabled and the elderly who have no family, and donate TV, water heater, fitness equipment and other articles to enrich the life of the elderly.
